- Music and Content Management. When you upload, manage, distribute, or administer music and other creative works, we may collect audio files, artwork, lyrics, ownership information, songwriter and publisher information, performer information, rights ownership information, and metadata (e.g., artist name, track title, contributors, royalty splits, and where available ISRC, writer and publisher information).
- Copyright Registration and Rights Administration. If you request copyright registration, music publishing, royalty administration, royalty collection, distribution, or other rights management services, we may collect attestations regarding ownership, copyright registration materials, powers of attorney, tax information, identification documents, beneficiary information, payment instructions, and information relating to co-creators, publishers, and other rightsholders.
- Artificial Intelligence Analysis Services. If you use AI-powered features, we may collect information you provide for analysis, including uploaded content, prompts, instructions, feedback, corrections to generated outputs, and information regarding your interaction with AI-generated recommendations, metadata, classifications, or other outputs.
- Monetization and Payment Information. If you participate in royalty collection programs, monetization offerings, subscriptions, or other compensation programs, we may collect bank account information, payment processor details, tax forms, taxpayer identification numbers, billing information, transaction history, and payout preferences.

Information We Automatically Collect

We may receive information from copyright offices, music publishers, royalty collection societies, performing rights organizations, distributors, digital service providers, record labels, rights administrators, and other industry partners in connection with providing our services.
- Social Media. When you engage with our content through third-party social networking websites, plug-ins, and applications, you may allow us to access certain information associated with your social media account (e.g., name, username, email address, profile picture).
- Single Sign-on (SSO). If you choose to log in through a third-party platform, we may access certain information from that platform, such as your username or email address. The information we receive may vary based on your privacy settings on such platform.

- To Operate and Administer Our MuseOS Services, such as creating and managing your account, maintaining your music catalog, processing uploaded content, facilitating metadata management, and administering subscriptions.
- To Analyze, Manage, and Process Submitted Content, including organizing, storing, reviewing, and enriching metadata and facilitating catalog management and reporting features.
- To Facilitate Copyright Registration and Rights Management Services, including preparing, submitting, updating, and managing copyright filings, ownership records, attestations, and related documentation.
- To Administer Publishing, Royalty Collection, and Distribution Services, including identifying rights ownership, collecting royalties, processing revenue distributions, and facilitating payments to you and other authorized parties.
- To Provide AI-Powered Features and Functionality, generating analysis, recommendations, and insights, and improving the quality, safety, and performance of AI-powered features.
- To Provide Customer Support, Service-Related Communications, and Marketing Communications, subject to your marketing preferences and applicable law.
- To Improve and Develop Our MuseOS Services, including data analysis, audits, fraud monitoring and prevention, quality assurance, and developing new products.
- To Maintain Legal, Security, and Regulatory Compliance, including combating spam and malicious activity, verifying identity, enforcing our Terms, and responding to lawful requests. We may also process information in the context of corporate transactions and with your consent.
When We Disclose Your Information
- Our Corporate Group. We may disclose personal information with our subsidiaries, corporate affiliates, joint ventures, or other companies under common control with us for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
- Vendors and Service Providers. - As Necessary to Comply with Our Legal Obligations, including disclosures to law enforcement, regulators, and other authorities where we believe in good faith it is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property or to comply with legal obligations.
- Corporate Transactions, such as a merger, consolidation, acquisition, or sale of assets, including during due diligence. We may also share aggregated or anonymized data that does not personally identify you.
Security of Your Information
We take reasonable steps to use appropriate physical, technical, and organizational measures to help safeguard your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction. We use encryption to secure data in transit between your device and our servers, offer account-level protections such as secure password requirements and optional two-step verification, regularly review our systems and security protocols, and limit access to personal information to authorized MuseOS personnel and service providers who require it. Unfortunately, no security system is 100% secure, so we cannot ensure the security of all information you provide to us.
Children
Our MuseOS Services are not intended for individuals under the age of majority in the applicable jurisdiction, which includes, for clarification, individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly process personal information from individuals under 18 years old. If you are under 18, you should not use the Sites or send any information about yourself to us.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information without your consent, please contact us using the details in the “How to Contact Us” section below. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided personal information without parental consent, we will terminate that user’s access and take steps to delete the information from our systems, unless we have a legal obligation to keep it.
Retention
